Hi, friends. I’m coming to you from the literal top of the Target Center, watching the Final Four. I’m not going to lie to you. While I’m blessed and happy to be here, it’s also been A JOURNEY full of all the typical frustrations and exhaustions, and overwhelms that come from reporting in person.

There is just SO MUCH HAPPENING at once here in Minneapolis, and I have somehow managed to mistime almost all of my moves this week, which will surprise nobody.

I’ve got some reported pieces coming over the next couple of days, I promise, but tonight I thought I’d give you all a little behind-the-scenes peek at my week, WEIRD VIBES and all. Like a diary, I guess.

Let’s start on Tuesday, when I dropped my dog, Mo off at doggy daycare for a full week.

Tuesday

Some people’s pet children are sad when their human parents leave town. My dog instantly forgot who I was the second he realized someone else would pet him. TRAITER.

Anyways, with Mo taken care of, the next notable stop on my journey was Wednesday morning, when I woke up at 5:00 a.m. ready to just drag my packed suitcase out the door.
