I cannot believe this needs to be said, but can we at least start with protecting the amount of airtime women would have had if the seasons continued / started?

I see a few old women's games on ESPN, a few more on ESPNEWS, and a bunch of cornhole and NFL draft analysis.

Had Oregon tipped against South Carolina last night, surely we'd have had a pregame show + the game + a postgame show, no?

The ESPN back catalogue of great women's games is rich. Not just in basketball, but in tennis (!), softball, soccer, and other sports. NBC/Golf has the LPGA library. And so on.

Let's stop farting out talking head shows about literally nothing and show real games. Set the scene for people. You're paying studio analysts and announcers anyway. Give me an hour on what happened in the 2015 NCAAW season and then show me the five games that mattered. Make it an all day thing.

For GOD'S SAKE give me Serena Week. Or month.

I love the idea of letting women go first. I just also think we shouldn't wait. People want to watch games. They want to watch games that they don't know the outcome of. Sadly, for many, that means the rich women's sports back-catalogue is perfect.

Let's set up women's sports month ((C) Power Plays - All Rights Reserved) with women's sports however-long-this-will be, so that by the time the W comes back, people are like "Ooh, A'ja and Liz v. Emma and Elena? What time?!"

Also, God I wanna watch A'ja and Liz v. Emma and Elena.
