amazing, thank you so much! I actually figured out a way to do it where I don't have to match you with someone's email, so it's a simpler process: https://www.powerplays.news/subscribe?donate=true
Download the app on your phone and login with another social media account. You can join a rave (online watch party) or start your own, choosing content from YouTube, Netflix (logging in to your account) and other stream services. It can be public or just for your friends. The video plays at the same time on every device for the people who joins, plus you can chat while watching. I still don't get how kin works (digital currency) and I haven't found any explanation, but I've tried it a few times and it's still free for me.
SO in for any virtual watch parties. Free Zoom accounts limit you to 40 minutes, which is not enough time to hang out with you all, but Zoom in general is a good option - host can mute everyone and unmute selectively, while sharing screen to show the content, and comments can also be written on the sidebar.
Bonus: we can all turn our cameras on and invite each other into our (messier than usual, I swear, it is not always like this) homes.
Oh this is very interesting -- also wondering if it would be worth investing in a paid account for the group, if that's possible?? I'm so excited to figure this out.
I'd be able to, and would love to, give one Gift Subscription!

Could. Or could just piggyback off of someone who has a paid account through work. I do not.
Love this so much. Amazing
